I visited Mr. Merredew's Writer's Craft class today to talk about (you guessed it) writing. Each student in the class is writing a novella so I shared with them some of what I've learned over the last few years about writing and publishing. Had a good time and look forward to hearing about their finished works.

I just found out that Eon's Door has won the 2011 Reader Views Reviewers Choice Award! The award is in the teen (age 12 - 16) category and I'll find out on March 8th if it will be for first, second, or third place. This was a pleasant surprise and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the judges will place me on top. Either way, it's an honor and I wish the other two authors the best of luck.
