The Good.

The first official review of Eon's Door goes live on The LL Book Review Thursday, July 22! Shannon, the administrator and lead reviewer over at LL, said that their newest reviewer, Daniel, a young reader and lover of Sci Fi and Fantasy, has read the book and put together a very complimentary report. I can't wait to see what he has to say.

I have also lined up a number of reviews from other reputable sites and am eager to have their opinions shared with readers. I'm hoping it will get sales moving up. And up. And up. We'll have to wait and see.

There has also been some interest by teachers to read the book and use the Eon's Door Novel Study Unit (a free download from my Home page). I will be getting paperbacks out to them as soon as possible.


The Bad.

For those of you waiting to buy the paperback edition of Eon's Door, it should be available early next week. The final proof won't arrive until Monday (it would have come today, but for the Canada Day holiday) and, if every thing looks good, I'll make it live on Amazon immediately. I've already gone through one proof already and I'm confident it will be perfect this time. And boy, does the book ever look great! As soon as the paperback is up on Amazon, I will let you know here.

I also have some teachers who are interested in reading and studying Eon's Door with their Language Arts classes. The free unit I've made available on the "Home" page of this site has really impressed them and they're eager to read the book over the summer. I think they and their students are really going to enjoy the book.
