In a previous post I said I'd get back to you with the results of my Eon's Door summer promotion on Amazon. It went well. Really well. Over 3000 people downloaded the book and resulting sales are way up, and I even managed to get the book's Amazon rank down into the single thousands. It's amazing what can happen when people can find your book--and that was the purpose of the promotion. This all happened during the summer months when book sales tend to be significantly slower than the rest of the year.
As we move into the new school year (by the way, I'm a teacher as well as a writer of fantasy), I'm hoping to get Eon's Door into more classrooms.
