I'm also very pleased with how my free Eon's Door Novel Study Unit has been received by educational and environmental sites. Carla Beard at Web English Teacher was impressed by the scope and utility of the unit, and the World Wildlife Fund is looking at adding Eon's Door to its list of "Green Books". The novel study unit has also been uploaded to the Ontario Educational Resource Bank so teachers in Ontario can access it. But I'd like to stress to any grade 7, 8, or 9 Language Arts/English teacher--whether in Canada, the U.S., or the U.K--that Eon's Door and its unit of study would be a great addition to your program. And it's free to download from the Home page of this website!
I've also been very lucky in requesting reviews of my book. Daniel at LL Book Review is taking a look at it right now. Heather at Earth's Book Nook will also be reading it and posting a review. And, as soon as I have the paperback out, Sarah at Self Publishing Magazine will get a copy too. Reviews are vital to getting the word out and in establishing a book's credibility, and I'm certain I'll have more reviewers on board in the near future. I have a great deal of faith in Eon's Door and am confident I'll get the added push that I need to get the attention of readers.
But you don't have to wait! If you have a Kindle, buy the book now. It's only $2.99 (ridiculously inexpensive, in my view) and there's a link on my Home page that will take you right to the Amazon Kindle store. Why not read it and post a review of your own on Amazon? From time to time, I'll be including some of those opinions on this blog.
Please send me your comments and questions. I'd love to hear from you.
