Eon's Door should not be open.

Two thousand years after three clans step through Eon's Door to find sanctuary in the Erlan realm, a prophecy left to them by the ancient race that created the tree portal is coming true. Shorran, sage to the clans, has stolen the portal's key and is using the awesome power that separated the worlds to tear apart the very soul of Nature. The key must be taken back and Eon’s Door closed--before it's too late.

Part one of the book follows an Erlan youth named Miann who is charged with the task of finding the "child of doubt" who can take the key back. Part two introduces Bobby Wright; the twelve year old human who Miann is convinced is the one. Together, they embark on a dangerous quest to the far reaches of the Erlan realm and the limits of their courage.

For a YA fantasy, Eon’s Door has a very special quality. Although it incorporates elements common to the genre, it casts off its clichés. Readers will love its literary style and an engaging plot that is woven masterfully through its pages. They will be introduced to a wonderful cast of characters unlike any they've known before, and enter a world so rich and real they will become lost in it.

Eon's Door is an incredibly imaginative and moving tale of friendship and sacrifice that is sure to satisfy fantasy lovers of all ages.

The plot of Eon’s Door is framed by The Prophecy of the Ancients. Each verse reflects events in the story, ending at the climactic final confrontation between the hero and villain. Like a riddle, the prophecy challenges the characters (and reader) to decipher its meaning.

The Prophecy of the Ancients

Twice taken it will be,
Once to threaten, once to free.

Found within by one without,
Hope will be the child of doubt.

No thing of Erla can pierce the shell,
Where darkness and betrayal dwell.

Evil reigns if you fail to see,
The soul's window weeping through the key.
